David has been in the financial services industry since 1994, firstly as an Accountant and then as a Financial Adviser from 2000 onwards. David successfully ran a boutique financial advisory firm from 2003 to 2007 until it was acquired by a larger organisation, and then in 2009, David established Custodian Financial Group. He has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting major) and the Diploma of Financial Planning and is currently a Certified Financial Planner, the highest professional designation of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (‘FPA’). David enjoys dealing with all clients who appreciate the value of, and will act upon sound financial advice. David loves spending time with his family, where a large part of his time is spent chasing after his three children. If time permits, he enjoys a game of golf and the beaches of the South Coast during the summer months.
Jason joined CFG in 2011 and has been in the financial services industry since 2008. Before joining the industry he completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Banking & Finance major) and Bachelor of Information Technology, and later went on to complete a Diploma of Financial Planning. Jason is also a Certified Financial Planner and Life Risk Specialist, as recognised by the FPA. Jason’s driving motivation is the ability to help people from all walks of life achieve their financial and lifestyle goals through a holistic approach to strategic, investment and risk advice. Jason maintains an active lifestyle and is usually found at any sporting event or on the tennis court in his spare time.
Felix joined CFG in 2015 and has grown to become a valuable member of team by assisting the advisers and clients wherever possible. Felix takes a great interest in the financial industry and has completed a Bachelor of Finance majoring in Financial Planning at the University of Canberra. He believes that education and continued professional development is vital. When not in the office, Felix enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading or watching his favourite football team play on the weekend.
Upon joining Custodian Financial Group in 2015, Nic attained an intense interest in financial planning and the financial sector as a whole. Nic’s original role within Custodian Financial Group was centred around administration and Nic has a strong understanding of how efficient administrative practice can assist a business in achieving exemplary results for clients. In 2016, Nic began studying a Master of Applied Finance Specialising in Financial Planning. Nic is concurrently achieving a strong understanding of the financial planning industry through his practical experience within Custodian Financial Group as well as through his more theoretical based studies. Since beginning his coursework, Nic has been progressively taking on a more active role with clients through adviser support and paraplanning activities. Away from his desk and textbooks, Nic enjoys the outdoors and exploring Canberra’s abundant natural surroundings. One of Nic’s most prominent hobbies is gaining a deeper understanding of society and the world around him.
Ashleigh joined Custodian Financial Group in August 2016 and has been performing the administrative tasks of the practice since joining. As time has passed, Ashleigh’s confidence and understanding of the industry and business has grown resulting in Ashleigh providing an invaluable contribution to our advisers and clients on a daily basis. Outside of work Ashleigh enjoys spending time with friends and playing soccer over the winter.
Brendan started with CFG in March 2018 providing administrative support for our advisers and team. Upon starting with CFG, Brendan has recognised the importance of efficiency in the workplace, time management and how they lead to superior outcomes. Brendan is currently studying a Bachelor of Finance, undertaking a double major in Financial Planning and Information Technology at the University of Canberra. After completing his degree, Brendan aims to pursue a career as a financial planner. In his spare time, Brendan enjoys going to the gym, cooking and going out with friends on the weekend.
